44-43 BC. Gold stater, 8.48g (11h). Obv: Roman consul walking left, accompanied by two lictors fore and aft, AP monogram before, ΚΟΣΩΝ in exergue. Rx: Eagle with spread wings standing left on scepter, clutching laurel wreath in right talon. RPC 1701. J.
